After School Program

The Saint Florian Center's After School program is a fun opportunity for children to gain valuable skills while having fun with friends. It is open to students ages 10-14 years old in 4th-8th grade at Indianapolis' Carl Wilde School 79! We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays immediately after school until 5:30 p.m.

Our students have the opportunity to receive homework tutoring and participate in our Readers are Leaders program, spelling bees, math pentathlons, and get recognition for "A" quality work. Additionally, this program focuses on leadership skills, life skills, and drug and alcohol prevention, along with spending time with friends playing active games like Capture the Flag, Fitness Games, Basketball, Volleyball, minute-to-win-it games, and more!

At the end of each semester (August-December and January-May), we recognize our Cohorts through an awards ceremony with prizes for attendance awards, "A" paper awards, and reading awards.
