 The 2008 Saint Florian Center Leadership development Summer Camp is scheduled June 2 - July 25, 2008 at the Center for Inquiry (Downtown). Three seperate programs teach youth ages 6-9, 10-13, and 14-17 to practice leadership by communicating, solving problems, developing schedules to manage time. High School Students (ages 14-17) learn what it takes to get a job, keep a job, and excel at a job. They shadow profesionals twice a week and earn a stipend as they prepare to enter corporate America. Middle School Students (ages 10-13) practice leadership through hands-on activities in science, math, health and safety, art and culture, business, law and government, and philanthropy. Elementary School Students (ages 6-9) practice team work, cooperation, manners, and showing initiative. All age groups concentrate on making the world better by being peer leaders and serving mankind. Multiple educational outings are included, and the youth have loads of fun participating in Leadership Jeopardy, Fear Factor, the Amazing Race, and added this summer is "The Big Give"!
