The Saint Florian Center provides youth with safe, nurturing and educational programs throughout the year.  We depend on organizations and volunteers to provide unforgettable experiences that reinforces our daily message to  "Do Something Positive & Be Someone Positive".

Any young man or boy is encouraged to join the Saint Florian center at any of the  "MY BROTHER'S KEEPER" sessions. The Rites of Passage program educates youth ages 10-17 on the seven principles that lead to adulthood. Sessions alternate between the first and third Saturday, and the second & fourth Tuesday each month at Phillips Temple CME Church. Activities include obtaining wisdom from the elders, multiple hands on projects to enhance knowledge, & opportunities to explore successful minority business owners in the community. Young men earn points for attendance and participation, and their rewrad is special outing to Chicago in April, and other special events each month. Youth are encouraged to sumbit their reports cards for bonus awards. Tutoring is available for those in need.
